Hades is Supergiant Games' god-like roguelike in which Zagreus, son of Hades, fights his way out of the Underworld one run at a time. Every escape attempt reshuffles rooms, boons, and encounters while a fully-voiced story keeps advancing between deaths. Because it renders hand-drawn 2D art rather than heavy 3D scenes, Hades is exceptionally light — modern GPUs, laptops, and handhelds push very high frame rates with almost no tuning. Its graphics menu is deliberately minimal (resolution, display mode, VSync, a quality preset, and a frame-rate cap), so the biggest 'optimization' here is simply matching the frame cap to your monitor.
