Test Your Ping to Any Game Server

Measure your latency to server regions worldwide, find your best server for any game, discover the fastest DNS for your connection, and get a personalized optimization plan.

Measures HTTP round-trip time to datacenters co-located with each game’s servers — a close proxy for in-game ping (actual ping can vary ±10–20ms). No fake “boosters”, just real measurements.

How it works

How can a website measure my ping without an app?+

Browsers can't send true ICMP pings, so we time HTTP round-trips to datacenters that sit right next to each game's actual servers. That HTTP latency is a close, honest proxy for your in-game ping — usually within 10–20ms of what you'll see in-game.

Why pick a server region manually?+

Most games have an 'Auto' region setting that occasionally routes you to a busier or geographically farther datacenter. Once you know your lowest-ping region from the test, setting it manually gives you the most consistent latency.

Does changing my DNS lower my in-game ping?+

Not directly — once you're connected to a match, DNS is out of the loop. But a fast, reliable resolver (like Cloudflare 1.1.1.1) speeds up connecting to servers, matchmaking and downloads, and avoids slow or unreliable ISP DNS. It's a safe, free upgrade.

Do you use 'ping booster' software?+

No. We never recommend fake booster apps — most do nothing or add overhead. Everything here is real measurement plus safe, proven network settings you control yourself.

Ping values are estimates of network round-trip time to datacenters near each game’s servers. Actual in-game latency depends on the game’s netcode, your ISP routing, hardware, Wi-Fi conditions and server load. GamerSpecs never uses or endorses “ping booster” software.
