About Arena Breakout
Arena Breakout is mobile gaming's answer to Escape from Tarkov: raid in with gear you can lose, loot, and extract under pressure — wrapped in one of the most technically ambitious presentations on phones, with volumetric lighting, detailed gun models and dense interiors. The visual ceiling is high enough that its Ultra HD preset genuinely challenges flagship chips. But this is an extraction shooter: dying to a frame dip costs your whole loadout, and dark interiors hide prone players. Competitive wisdom is to run the Smooth preset at the highest frame rate your phone sustains, raise screen brightness, and let the showcase graphics stay in the settings menu.
Best mobile settings
Three curated profiles — max FPS for competitive, balanced, and HD graphics.
Raid Ready / Max Frames
Smooth graphics at the highest sustainable frame rate — in a game where death deletes your loadout, frames and target visibility beat every visual flourish.
| Setting | Value | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics Quality | Smooth | Flattens expensive lighting so dark corners hide fewer rats. |
| Frame Rate | Max your phone sustains (60/90) | Peeking and tracking live and die on frame rate. |
| Anti-Aliasing | Off | — |
| Shadows | Low | Softer shadows also make players in shade easier to spot. |
| Volumetric Light | Off | Beautiful, expensive, and it hides angles — off for raids. |
| Depth of Field | Off | Keeps everything sharp when aiming down sights. |
| Motion Blur | Off | — |
| Screen Brightness | High | Interior fights are dark — brightness is a legitimate advantage. |
Balanced
Keeps the game's impressive material detail at a steady frame rate — good for normal raids on upper-mid hardware where you want atmosphere and answers.
| Setting | Value | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics Quality | Balanced | — |
| Frame Rate | 60 | — |
| Anti-Aliasing | On | — |
| Shadows | Medium | — |
| Volumetric Light | Low | — |
| Depth of Field | Off | — |
| Motion Blur | Off | — |
| Screen Brightness | Comfortable | — |
Ultra HD Showcase
The full tech demo — Ultra HD preset with volumetric lighting on. Gorgeous, heavy, and honestly best for loot runs and screenshots rather than sweaty raids.
| Setting | Value | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics Quality | Ultra HD | One of the best-looking modes on mobile, and priced accordingly. |
| Frame Rate | 60 | — |
| Anti-Aliasing | On | — |
| Shadows | High | — |
| Volumetric Light | On | — |
| Depth of Field | On | — |
| Motion Blur | Personal preference | — |
| Screen Brightness | Comfortable | — |

Optimization tips
- 1
Run Smooth + max frame rate for any raid you can't afford to lose — the Ultra HD preset is a showcase, not a competitive setting.
- 2
Raise screen brightness and disable Volumetric Light: dark interiors decide fights, and both changes make shaded players visible sooner.
- 3
Frame dips mid-peek are deadly here — pick the frame rate your phone holds through firefights, not the one it reaches in the lobby.
- 4
Play cool in long sessions: extraction raids run 15-30 minutes, long enough for thermal throttling to sag your frame rate exactly when you extract.
- 5
The game holds ~3.4 GB of RAM — close background apps on 8 GB phones so a mid-raid OS kill never costs you a loadout.
- 6
Audio is half the game: use headphones — footstep direction matters more than any graphics setting in this genre.
